Maranatha Stables, located in St. Gabriel, Louisiana, is home to the beautiful and exciting American Saddlebred breed of horse.
Owner and trainer Tommy Benton has been involved with horses since he was a teenager. He began training Arabians but then was attracted to the excitement and energy of riding, training and showing American Saddlebreds. The result has been blue ribbon success, lots of fun and victory passes for Maranatha riders across the nation, from Louisiana's Parker Coliseum to the green shavings of Freedom Hall.

Maranatha Stables usually has 15-20 horses in training -- meet them at Our Horses -- along with lesson horses. We offer lessons nearly every day of the week as well as an annual summer riding camp. Our experienced amateur riders as well as academy riders compete in horse shows all over the country including Louisiana, Texas, Alabama, Tennessee and Kentucky (visit our Show Schedule page for a list of shows).
